Hi Nancy,
Here is a recipe for Onion Tart Hors d' oeuvres for Trudy. They are made with your own pastry and little mini tins are used.They just melt in your mouth.
Onion Tarts
Mini tarts-30
2 Tbsp. butter
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 cup whipping cream
2 tsp. Dijon mustard
Salt & Pepper
Cook onion in butter 1 minute. Lower heat to low. Simmer 20 minutes until softened. Add whipped cream and Dijon you must heat up to high. Add salt & Pepper. Cook 2 minutes. The cream thickens.Pout into pastry shells. You can spray pans with spray if using home made pastry. Bake 15 minutes @400 F. Heat up 8-10 minutes or 10 sec in Microwave.
