This note is for Avillalar or anyone else contemplating purchasing a deep fryer. I highly suggest researching the f*gor pressure cooker/fryer before purchasing a deep fryer that will only deep fry. The f*gor
pressure cooker/fryer not only does deep frying but also does pressure cooking and SAFELY permits home broasting (cooking with oil under pressure). The f*gor comes in 4 quart, 6 quart and 8 quart sizes. I've
used my 8 quart model for several years now and have been very happy with the results it provides. If I had it to do over, however, I'd purchase the 6 quart model as it would be very adequate for our two person household. These aren't inexpensive but well worth the purchase price.
