Thanks for your great newsletters! Two things... well, really three.
One... the caramel from the canned milk. I had that when I was an exchange student in Costa Rica. They did just like she said and put the can in simmering water for hours. It seemed like it was almost all day. There was no recipe, just cooking until thickened. Two... Cooperative Extension doesnt recommend thawing turkeys except through a quick thaw method with ice water or the refrigerator. I know what you mean about space, but how do you make sure the cooler stays below 40 degrees unless you stay up all night with it and keep checking? Three... I am in charge of a program for a group of women, on the holidays. Making gifts from the kitchen... does anyone have ideas to share, I need to start preparing?
