hi, just recently join and must say it is wonderful what you have here. i am sending in a recipe for cathy for fund rasing idea. I am from rhode island and a popular selling item is Dynamites
1-1/2 pds. hamburg
2 med. onions chopped
1/2 pkg celery chopped
2 med. peppers chopped
1 large can tomatoes
2 cans tomato paste
2 garlic cloves minced
salt and pepper to taste
Mix hamburg and veg. together and cook add rest of items simmer for couple hours and serve on split rolls
you may add hot pepper seeds and hot sauce or have on sides. they sell them for 2 to 3 dollars and are great. Kinda Rhode Island style sloppy joes. you may double and they freeze well.
