Please help us with this one. Several years ago, Jello boxs had a recipe for pistachio dessert. I think it contained mini marshmallows as a top, pistachio pudding and something else. However I have been unsuccessful in locating the recipe. It was a great dessert and it could be decorated for Christmas. Could you please help me out?

Pistachio Salad Dessert
1 small box Jell-0 Instant Pudding, Pistachio Flavored
1 regular sized can of crushed pineapple, do not drain
1 c. mini-marshmallows
1 c. chopped nuts
1 small container of Cool Whip
Green food coloring
Put undrained can of crushed pineapple into a large bowl, add dry pudding mix and combine well.
Add marshmallows and nuts.
Fold in Cool Whip.
Chill in fridge for several hours or overnight.
PISTACHIO JELLO
2 lg. cans pineapple tidbits, drained
2 pkg. instant pistachio Jello pudding
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 c. nuts, chopped (pecans)
1 jar maraschino cherries, cut up
Cream together instant pudding and Cool Whip.
Add pineapple, cherries and nuts.
Add green food coloring, if more color is desired.
Garnish with green candy mints, cut into leaves.

I HAVE MADE THE PISTACHIO DESSERT (AKA WATERGATE PUDDING) MANY TIMES. NUTS ARE OPTIONAL AND I NEVER USE FOOD COLORING. THE PISTACHIO PUDDING MIX IS ALREADY GREEN SO ITS REALLY NOT NECESSARY. YOU CAN ALSO ADD A CAN OF MANDARIN ORANGES OR FRUIT thingyTAIL FOR A LITTLE ADDED COLOR. JUST MAKE SURE THAT YOU DRAIN ANY ADDITIONAL CANS OF FRUIT THAT YOU ADD BEFORE ADDING TO THE MIX. ONLY KEEP THE JUICE FROM THE CAN OF PINEAPPLE. ENJOY!

Watergate Salad
a.k.a. Pistachio Salad
1 large can crushed pineapple
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1 cup chopped pecans
1 small box instant pistachio pudding
1 large cantainer Cool Whip
Combine all ingredients and chill then ENJOY.
