2 cups cooked chicken, chopped 1 - 8 oz. cream cheese, softened (you can use the onion blend for a nice oniony taste!) pepper to your taste 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella) 2/3 cup chopped mushrooms (optional) 4 pkgs. cresent rolls 4 tbs. butter, melted
Directions: Mix the chicken, cream cheese, pepper, cheese, and mushrooms and place "filling" inside each cresent rolls. Brush with melted butter.
Roll cresents in a mixture of:
2/3 cup seasoned bread crumbs 1/2 cup finely crushed pecans
Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes .
Sauce:
1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 cup mayonnaise 1 cup sour cream 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated garlic salt to your taste 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Stir all ingredients together in sauce pan; heat. Serve with roll ups.
NOTE: This can be as an appetizer or a main dish. If served as a main dish, spoon some over each one. Appetizers you can use the sauce on the side as a dip.
