Meatballs:
1 lb. lean ground beef 1/2 c cracker crumbs 1/4 c minced onion 1/4 c milk 1/2 tsp. parsley 1/8 tsp. pepper
In a large bowl, mix the above ingredients, shape into meatballs, pressing them together firmly.
In a large skillet, brown the meatballs, turning often until well cooked and lightly browned.
Sauce:
1 c jellied cranberry sauce 6 oz. Catalina salad dressing or Honey French 1/2 c. ketchup 1/2 c grape jelly 1/2 water
Mix cranberry sauce and grape jelly together in a saucepan on low to medium heat, stirring constantly till blended, add salad dressing, ketchup and water-simmer at low heat for 15 minutes. Add meatballs into sauce and pour into a crockpot on low heat for 4 hours. Serve as appetizers.
NOTE: You can leave these in the crockpot to keep them warm, and only take out a small plate of them at a time. Drain carefully in a slotted spoon prior to transfer. Stick a fancy toothpick in each one for easy picking up.
