Cheddar and Bacon Cheese Log.
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened 3 tbsp. mayonnaise 1/8 teaspoon French's Worcestershire sauce 3 to 4 drops hot pepper sauce 8 ounces (2 cups) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded 1/4 cup crumbled crisply cooked bacon 2 tbsp. sliced green onions 1 cup chopped toasted pecans *Variety of crackers
Directions: In a large mixing bowl beat the cream cheese, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce on medium speed, scraping bowl often, until smooth (1 to 2 minutes). By hand, stir in the cheese, bacon and green onions. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
Next, form cheese mixture into a ball or log shape, and roll in pecans to coat. Wrap in plastic food wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve with crackers. Yield: 1 log
