Hi Frenzy,
nice to have a new name on the message boards. I am surprised that you haven't been inundated with Welcomes as the members of this newsletter are all so friendly and generous. No doubt all busy, but I'm sure they will all welcome you with open arms. Your profile doesn't say whether you are a male or female (not that it matters). I sometimes wish I was 28 again, but only if I had the knowledge of cooking and life that I do now.
If you are ever stuck for a recipe, answers to problems i.e. cleaning tips etc. you have come to the right place. The knowledge within this massive group is astounding.
Don't be afraid to come in and chat or post a beloved menu, or ask for advice.
How is the weather in Southern California? Most of us from all over the world have been having weird weather. Hope yours is OK. I spent 19 days in California in Nov 2001 and loved it, did find the lifestyle all go go go. I think my long-haul aeroplane trips are over now - takes far too long to recover and need a holiday to recover from the trip.
What other hobbies are you interested in?
Finally have you ever been to the UK and if so did you visit Scotland?
Take Care Sylvia446

Thanks so much for the welcome. th weather here has been very tolerable actually. Not to hot and not too cold either. I think for this time is should be much hotter than it is now so that would go a long with the strange weather everyone is having.
I know what you mean about the long plane rides. It can take so much out of a person. Even at my age after a flight I want to do nothing but eat and sleep. I have wanted to visit the UK for the longest time but just havent managed to get there. I usually like to go places where I know people and I don't know anybody there that well. Scotland im sure is amazing. I just love learning and experiencing different cultures.

Hullo again Frenzy,
What kind of work do you do at Kraft and do you enjoy your job?
It would be nice to travel to all the places on your Agenda whilst young, but the older you get the wiser you become and your choices of destinations change. My youngest son Nicholas turned 30 in June and in the last 12 months - due to sticking in and learning, going to Edinburgh Uni and obtaining an Honours Degree in Geo/Physics, has now got the job with the resulting finances to travel and he and his girlfriend have been to places in the world that Ron and I could only have dreamed off. We felt we were pretty well traveled, but compared to Val and Nicholas we are pretty mediocre. We had to save and be careful to be able to fund our trips - Nicholas' biggest problem is finding the time off.
So the world is your oyster at 28.
Whenever you have time to spare, you will find a lot of worldly knowledge on the www and on Nancy's Kitchen search box. I have found some real gems and continue to search and am constantly learning. If you are ever stuck for an answer all you have to do is ask on the newsletter and I guarantee the answer will be found for you.
Have a lovely 4th July.
