PICKLED BEETS AND EGGS
8 to 10 hard cooked eggs Drain 1 can beets Add enough water to beet juice to make 1 cup 1/2 cup vinegar 1 cup sugar 1 tsp. Ground cloves 1 cinnamon stick
Cook the eggs. Peel and put eggs in glass jar. (I use a gallon glass container). Place beets on top of eggs. Boil juice, water, vinegar, sugar and spices. Pour over beets/eggs. Marinate for at least 1 week. Two weeks if they last that long!
