Help! A very good friend asked me today if I had an amaretto cookie recipe. She would like to make them. Can anyone help?

Hi Chris, I have sent in an Almond and Pistachio Biscotti recipe to today's newsletter, the recipe has an option to add Amaretto to it. If your friend hasn't found a recipe, perhaps this one will do or could be adapted.
I was going to post it on the message boards, but as usual I'm not too sure whether it is the equivalent of an American Cookie or Biscuit.
