Ding Dong Cake Recipe Submitted By: Sharon Koenig 1 Chocolate Cake Mix 1 16 oz Cool Whip Chocolate Frosting - either Homemade or Store Bought Oven Temp ~ per box directions Recipe Bake Time ~ per box directions Pan Type ~ 9" x 13" pan Preheat oven according to box directions. Make up one chocolate cake mix and bake as per directions on box. Remove from pan and place on a cookie sheet and freeze. Remove from freezer and cut in half and spread a large cool whip on top of the bottom half. Place the other half on top and frost with chocolate frosting and return to freezer.
