I have this great cake recipe do not know where it should go
Cranberry Spice Cake
1/2 cup shortening 1 cup light brown sugar, packed 2 eggs 1 cup jellied cranberry sauce 1 cup chopped nuts 1 cup seedless raisins 2 3/4 cups sifted flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon nutmeg 3/4 cup buttermilk
Blend shortening, sugar and eggs. Stir in cranberry sauce, nuts and raisins. Add mixed dry ingredients alternately with milk. Place in greased 9−inch tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees F about one hour. Cool; remove from pan. Ice with Creamy Lemon Icing.
Creamy Lemon Icing
2 1/3 cups sifted confectioners' sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 lemon juice 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup shortening 1 tablespoon grated lemon rind
Mix confectioners' sugar, salt and egg. Boil lemon juice and granulated sugar together for 1 minute. Add shortening and lemon rind. Beat all ingredients together until creamy.
This board was set up by Nancy for non-recipe type, so we could just have old chin-wags. You can copy and paste your cake recipe on to the appropriate board i.e. Cakes etc. If you need a bit of guidance, just holler.
Looking forward to hearing from you with your recipes.

Regarding Sandy & yeast: I've read/heard that sugar feeds yeast so if you are going to eat yogurt it needs to be the unsweetened variety that contains live cultures. I plan to go to my health food store to see what is available there. This is my first post. Hope it goes through. --pm
It doesn't look as if any one has got back to you re your Tea Infuser. I enjoy a cup of mint tea now and then, but I don't have an infuser, I just use a pyrex teapot. It all comes down to taste, some people like sugar added to their herbal teas.
I have had a google and found a few links on the use of infusers, one video is quite funny. The utube link also has Stacey from XFactor on it.
