This brings back some lovely memories of when our lads were young, I used to serve it on a Kos lettuce leaf as a side when BBQing. I don't buy the chunky large cans of beans now so can't give quantity. I may even revive it for the grand kids, 4 year old Patrick loves beans! Easy Pork and Bean Salad
1 Large can of Heinz baked beans (drained, but save the sauce in case needed later) 4 Pork Sausages* cooked and chopped into bite size pieces 2 Sticks of celery finely chopped 1 tbs Mustard (your choice, but I use English) 3 Tbs mayonnaise 2 Tbs chopped onion (either red or white) Chopped pepper (colour and how much depends on your choice of onion and taste), if I use white onion I use half an orange or red pepper whereas if I use red onion I use green pepper.
Directions: Tip all the ingredients into a bowl, mix well, if it needs loosening up use some of the saved bean sauce to suit, cover and chill for an hour.
*if you simply want a quick no cook salad, substitute the Pork Sausages with your choice of Hot Dog ones.
