Ingredients:
1/2 pound fresh crab meat (I used the imitation crab
meat from a package)
1/2 pound cooked salad shrimp
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed
cream of shrimp soup
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup milk
1 (8 ounce) package angel hair pasta
8 ounces sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 (6 ounce) can French-fried onions
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine the soup, milk,
and mayonnaise in a bowl. Stir until smooth. Stir in
crabmeat, shrimp and uncooked noodles. Spoon into an
ungreased baking dish and sprinkle w/ cheese. Bake
this covered for 35 min. Uncover, sprinkle w/ onion
rings, and bake for 10 more min.
I also served this w/ garlic cheddar rolls. I tried a
new recipe for these that I found on this site also.
The cheddar and garlic rolls are kind of like the ones
that they serve at Red Lobster w/ meals:)!!!
Cheddar Bay Biscuits
Ingredients:
4 cups baking mix (I used Bisquick)
3 ounces Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 1/3 cups water
1/2 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon dried parsley
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Line a baking sheet with
parchment paper. Combine the baking mix, cheese, and
water in a bowl. (I also sprinkled in a tiny bit of
cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder. The recipe
didn't call for that, but that is what I decided to do
b/c it seems like Red Lobster makes their rolls like
that:)!!) Mix until dough is firm. Place dough on the
prepared pan in small to med. sized balls. Bake at
375 for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Combine the melted butter, garlic powder, salt, onion
powder and parsley. Brush over baked biscuits
immediately upon removing from oven.
**Notes incl. w/ recipe:
Baking mix is a common item in most American grocery
stores (the most common brand is "Bisquick"), but is
relatively unknown in other countries.
