Rissoles were part of our staple diet as kids and still today we enjoy them with mashed potatoes, peas and gravy. The link below is a rissole recipe that sounds good enough to eat not that much different to what I use but the sauce is. As per the basic rissole recipe in link below I'd add the following; (Omit the breadcrumbs) A good splash of tomato sauce Same with worcestershire sauce, 1 grated carrot, salt and pepper, Shape into rounds and flatten a little roll in flour and place in fridge for an hour or so. Fry in oil in pan until done. We also fry up a slice of bacon per person to lay over the rissoles, then pour gravy over that which has been made from the drippings in the pan. www.prestigemall.com/recipes/risolles.html
