1 gallon water
1/2 cup salt
3/4 cup Sugar
Halibut or cod, cut in chunks.
Mix together first three ingredients in a large pot and bring to a hard, rolling boil.
Add fish, being careful not to crowd the pot.
Fish is done when it floats, about 2-3 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain in a colander.
Serve with melted butter.
Tastes like the real thing!!

We tried this one time with cod, Marilynn, and it did kind of taste like lobster! Nothing like the real thing, though. Another fish you could use is monkfish. It is expensive, though, and we can't get it here in southern NM. Very good dish!!!!!!
