3 cups flour 1 cup granulated sugar 4 tablespoons baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup butter or margarine 2 eggs 1 cup milk 2 cups blueberries--raspberries--blackberries--or other fruit
Directions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl, stir the dry ingredients together. Cut in the butter or margarine with a pastry blender or two knives. Beat the eggs into the milk and add to the dry mixture, mixing just until moist. Add the fruit. Fill well-greased muffin tins two-thirds full. Bake 20-30 minutes.
