I have been looking for a family recipe that has been sadly lost when our granny passed away. It was her biscuit pudding she made out of her leftover biscuits. I can find plenty of bread pudding but its not the same. I know there has to be someone that still has that recipe around somewhere.
It would be so appreciated if someone could help me. My husband missed it very much and I would love to surprise him with an attempt at making one if i can find the recipe....
thanks in advance for any help that you can give me

Hi kitkat2003, Here is a recipe for Biscuit Pudding that you may have already found in your travels around the internet. I'm sorry we took so long to answer your request. This recipe was found at: southernfood.about.com/library/print98/n80503a.htmBiscuit Pudding 6 biscuits (cold) 1 cup water 1 1/4 cups sugar 1/4 cup butter or margarine 1 teaspoon nutmeg 1/2 cup raisins 2 eggs lightly beaten 1/2 cup evaporated milk Soak crumbled biscuits in hot water for a few minutes; add sugar, butter, nutmeg, raisins, beaten eggs, and milk, mixing after each addition. Pour into 1-quart greased baking dish; bake in preheated 350 degree oven for about 30 to 40 minutes, or until browned. Here is an updated version using canned biscuits: recipes.timesrecordnews.com/recipetarget.asp?Id=675Happy Holidays! -Shortcake
