1 cup flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup grated cheese
Sift flour and then measure, and sift again with baking powder and salt. Work in the butter and cheese with tips of fingers.
Add milk and mix quickly and lightly. Drop by spoonsfull on a greased baking sheet. Bake in a hot oven at 450, for 12 minutes. Serves 8.
