Maraschino Cherry Bread 2 eggs 1 cup sugar 2 tbsp cooking oil 1 1/2 cups flour 1 1/2 tsp baking powder pinch of salt 1 [8oz] bottle of marashino cherries with no stems, cut in small pieces or quarters if you like, keep the juice, it goes in the bread Beat the eggs and sugar well, add the dry ingredients. Add cherries with the juice to the egg mixture. Bake in greased bread/loaf pan for approx. 1 hour @325, till cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Cool before cutting. Jay
