Hi I am new to this dieting thing and need help. I have been moderately normal weight my whole life.....until now. I had a baby 8 months ago and I was doing good at first getting rid of the baby weight, but now it seems to have gone in the wrong direction. I need to loose 20 to 30 lbs still. I have tried just about everything short of starvation. I keep buying exercise equiptment (I'm using it). but it doen't go away. I am now resorting to rice cakes and water. HELP

I started WW back in June of last year. I didn't stick with the WW plan after a few months only because I learned what I had to do on my own. I've lost about 35 pounds and feel great. If you'd like some help, I have many tips and recipe that I can give you. I'm always here to help.

Be patient with yourself, you just had a baby, lots of new moms are in the same boat that you are. The 20-30 lbs did not appear in a month and will not disappear in a month. Really take a good look at your diet and see whats good or bad about it and start to make some small permenant changes to your diet. Maybe you should eat less sugar, or snack less or eat more whole grains. What ever changes you make should not be part of a "diet" but rather a permenant change to the way you eat. I think when you go on a diet and you are starving and eating food you don't like its easy to fail. So I think it works best to make small changes and be patient about results it won't happen overnight and nor should it. I lost 50lbs over 3 years and have kept if off for more than 5 years. Good luck, hope this helps
