I really need help with this one. We were wanting to have Prime Rib for Thanksgiving instead of the usual Ham or Turkey. I have never cooked this before so I have no idea of what kind of Beef to buy or how to cook it. We have always gone out to resturants to get it. Please can anybody help???

Hi Bobbi, I have moved a few posts forward to help you find some help with the purchasing, planning and cooking of Prime Rib for your holiday meal. You may want to go back and modify your post to indicate in the heading that you are In search of Prime Rib. Hopefully with the heading In search of Prime Rib we might be able to find a few more people who will share their knowledge or experience regarding Prime Rib with you. Happy Holidays! -Shortcake

That is funny. I got that exact same recipe from a newspaper last weekend, and decided to try it. First, I'll say I've never done a prime rib, mainly because I didn't want to ruin such an expensive piece of meat. But let me tell you, it came out absolutely perfect using that method. I swear by it now. (I'll be doing that more often as well) Nice board by the way.
