This cake is popular around the holidays in America's South.
2 cups Granulated sugar
3 Eggs
1 cup Buttermilk
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
1 cup Oil
1 cup Blackberry jam
1 cup Strawberry jam
1 cup Raisins
1 cup Pecans, chopped
1 1/2 teaspoons Cloves, ground
1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
Pre-heat the oven to 350. Mix all ingredients and blend well. Add to a
deep (lightly buttered and floured) square-baking pan. Bake until firm
in the middle (about 1 hour). Cool before cutting.
