APPLESAUCE CAKE
½ cup butter
2 cups sugar
1 egg
2 cups applesauce
½ cup water
2½ cups flour
1½ tsp. baking soda
1½ tsp. salt
¾ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp.cloves
½ tsp. allspice
Cream first 2 ingredients together.
Add the next 3 ingredients and mix together.
Then add the dry ingredients and
STIR WELL.
Stir in:
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup raisins
1 cup cherry halves
Grease a burnt pan, (I use spray pam)
Bake in 375º oven for 1 hour.
