Ice Cream Sandwich Cake
24 Ice Cream Sandwiches (with your choice of vanilla or chocolate ice cream) 8 oz. carton Whipped Topping (like Cool Whip) Fillings of your choice: candy bars broken into small bits, crushed cookies, chocolate chips, M&M's, caramel sauce, etc. (use your imagination)
Using a 9X13" pan, layer 12 Ice Cream Sandwiches across the bottom. Spread about 1/3 of the Whipped Topping over this layer. Add fillings to your taste. If you'd like, you can cover this filling layer with a drizzle of chocolate or caramel sauce or a sauce of your choosing. Cover the filling layer with the other 12 Ice Cream Sandwiches, and then top with the Whipped Topping. Freeze at least 4 hours or preferably overnight. Delicious!! And, it looks like you spent hours making it!!
