Chocolate Cherry Delight Cake
1 package yellow cake mix 1 package vanilla pudding (not instant) 1 can cherries (or light cherry pie filling) 1 package semi-sweet or dark baking chocolate
Bake cake in a 9X13 pan, and set aside to cool. Place the cake on a large platter. Cook the pudding. Punch holes with the end of a stirring spoon into the top of the cake about every 2 inches, and pour the pudding over it. After pudding has cooled, pour the cherries on top. Melt the chocolate and pour over the cherries. (I prefer to drizzle it on using a pastry bag and fine tip.) Keep refrigerated.
NOTE: This cake can also be done in a pretty glass bowl, laying each layer. Just cube up the cake, and layer in the order given above. Drizzle melted chocolate on the top.
