GUM DROP CAKE
1 cup sugar 1/2 cup butter or margarine 3/4 cup milk 2 cups flour(Remove some to flour raisins and gumdrops) 2 cups golden raisins (mix with 2 Tbs. flour) 1 cup cut up gum drops (mix with 1 Tbs. flour) 1 tsp salt 2 eggs 1 heaping tsp baking powder a little almond flavouring
Cream together sugar and butter til fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Mix together dry ingredients, and fold in alternately with milk and almond flavouring. Fold in the raisins and gumdrops. Pour into a greased and lined loaf pan. Bake in a slow (300*F) oven for one hour til done.
