Creamy Beef Stroganoff 1 tablespoon butter or margarine 1 pound lean beef sirloin (about 1/2 inch thick), cut into 3x1/2-inch strips 1 medium onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup) 1 clove garlic, finely chopped 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced (about 3 cups) 1/4 cup dry red wine or beef broth 2 tablespoons cornstarch 1 cup condensed beef broth 1 cup Yoplait® Grande! 99% Fat Free plain yogurt 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 2 cups hot cooked noodles or rice
1. Melt butter in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Cook beef in butter until no longer pink. Stir in onion, garlic and mushrooms. Cook 5 to 7 minutes or until onion is tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in wine; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
2. Stir cornstarch into broth until smooth; stir into beef mixture. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until thickened; remove from heat. Reduce heat to low. Stir in yogurt, salt and pepper; heat just until hot (do not boil).
3. Serve over noodles.
