German Goulash
2 pounds of Eye of Round Roast 2 large onions 2 pkg. of Knorr Goulash mix pepper flakes paprika salt and pepper to taste about 3 tablespoons of oil 2 tablespoons flour
Cut meat in one inch cubes, place in a baggy with two tablespoons of flour and salt and pepper. Heat oil in a large heavy skillet or pot, add onions and brown slightly, shake baggy with meat. Remove meat to oil and brown, it is best to add a few at a time so as not to cool oil too much. Add goulash mix and water as per instructions on pkg. Reduce heat and simmer for one to two hours according to how well you like your meat, I like mine to fall apart so I cook it for two hours. Adjust taste with pepper flakes, and color with the paprika. Serve with Spatzel and or French fries
