Cashew Crunch

???Help!
While traveling in the bluff country of Minnesota last year we bought candy that was called cashew crunch ( I believe) and was advertised as being made by the Amish. It was not a brittle- I've found brittle recipes but it's not that. It was softer than brittle, and almost was like a toffee. The only info I've been able to get from anywhere is "I think it just was made from sugar, butter, and cashews." Would there be anyone who has the recipe for this?
