I am fixing this tonight with my Irish Potato Casserole and steamed asparagus. YUM! www.nancys-kitchen.com/2007-september-recipes/sep-03-2007.htmSteak Dyan 1/2 c. brown gravy 1/4 c. sour cream 1/4 c. steak sauce 1/4 c. onion, diced fine 1 1/2 pounds beef sirloin steak - I used 2 cubed steaks 1/4 tsp. seasoned salt 3 TBS butter 8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced 1/4 c. madeora (madeira) wine (she used water) The wine is good for tenderizing the meat. Preheat sauté pan on medium-high heat for 1-2 minutes. Mix gravy, sour cream and steak sauce in bowl. Dice onion and set aside. Sprinkle both sides of steak with seasoned salt. Melt butter in sauté pan and add steak. Cook 6-8 minutes on each side. Remove steaks from pan and set aside, leaving drippings in pan. Add mushrooms and onions; sauté for 3 minutes. Add wine to pan, stir into mushroom mixture and simmer for 1 minute. Add gravy mixture to pan and simmer for 1 minute. Return steaks to pan, turn down heat to low and simmer for 3 minutes. Serve. Hope you enjoy, Angie in Ohio
