Please Help!!!

I have a one pint container of heavy whipping cream and want to make whipped cream out of it. Do I need to add sugar or anything to this when I whip it?

Please respond!! I want to have pie and whipped cream for my family's dessert tonight.

Hi eagles24life!

Yes, you do need to add a little sugar to the heavy whipping cream when whipping it, just a little at a time, up to 1 to 2 tsp. It depends on the amount of cream. You might want to add a little drop of vanilla, too! Good luck with your dessert!!!!!!!
