1 lb Monterey Jack or mozzarella cheese, 1 cup baking mix such as Bisquick®<br>1 tsp. paprika 1 egg 1/2 cup milk Preparation - Cut cheese sticks into 3" x 1/2" sticks. Place sticks on a baking sheet or tray and freeze for one hour. Combine baking mix, paprika, egg, and milk until smooth. Dip each stick in batter, covering cheese completely. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or add oil to a large heavy skillet, about 2" deep. Fry cheese sticks, at 375?, a few at a time, for about 2 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Let stand 2 to 3 minutes before serving. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
