Hi, I am searching for a key lime cheesecake that was featured in a past issue of Woman's World magazine. It may have been the cover recipe. It used most of the standard ingredients, but it was not baked. I do not eat raw eggs, and the cake did not have those. I think it had sweetened condensed milk, limeade and whipped topping. It was in a springform pan.
The magazine mysteriously disappeared, and I am very disappointed. Thanks for any help.
1 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese 1 (14 oz.) can of sweetened condensed milk 1 (12 oz.) container frozen whipped topping 1 c. fresh lime juice (about 5 limes) 1 baked 9 inch pie shell Lime slices and fresh mint for garnish
In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk and whipped topping. Stir in the lime juice until well blended and mixture is thick and smooth. Immediately pour lime filling into pie shell.
Chill for at least 2 hours. Garnish with lime slices and fresh mint leaves if desired. A Florida favorite!
