24- Hour Veggie Salad
1 can whole green beans 1 can sliced carrots 1 can whole kernal corn 1 can green peas 1 large red onion sliced and separated into thin rings 1 cup diced or sliced celery 1 jar pimento chopped 1 green pepper cut into rings
NOTE: All of the above ingredients may be adjusted for taste
dressing: 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup vinegar 1/2 cup oil salt and pepper to taste
Mix together and pour over salad in a large sealable bowl. Let sit in refrigerator 24 hours; stirring occasionally. Note: Actually overnight is sufficient or even a few hours, but the longer it marinates the better it is.
