Decided to give my files a fast look and found it for you! Hope this is what you are looking for. Boston lettuce. bacon - crispy fried green onions 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar 2 tbsp. sugar For each person eating the salad, chop up one strip of good quality bacon, and then fry until crisp. Remove the bacon from the pan and save the bacon fat. In a separate bowl, place torn leaves of Boston lettuce, well washed and dried. A small head will serve 2 people. Slice 1 green onion for each dinner guest and add to the lettuce bowl. Meanwhile, back in the bacon pan, add 2 Tb. good quality mild vinegar, and 2 Tb. sugar, for two people. Bring to a simmer, add salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the sweetness/sourness to suit your personal taste. Pour the hot dressing over the salad greens and toss. Serve immediately.
