My Mom's Cole Slaw
1 1-lb. pkg. pre-shredded cabbage and carrots (make sure it is as dry as possible after washing) 1 small onion, finely shredded
DRESSING: 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1/4 cup milk 1/2 cup sugar 2 tsp. white vinegar 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. onion powder 1/8 tsp. garlic powder (or to your taste)
Directions: Combine cabbage, carrots and onions in a large bowl. Mix dressing in a small bowl, adding mayonnaise and milk first and then all other ingredients. Wisk together until smooth, and then blend dressing into the cabbage mixture. Let sit for an hour or so before serving, to soften the cabbage some...
