Overnight Coleslaw
Dressing: 2 cups sugar 1/2 cup cider vinegar 2 tsp mustard seed 2 tsp salt 1 tsp celery seed 1/2 tsp dry mustard 1/4 tsp pepper
Combine dressing ingredients an hour before making salad, set aside and stir once in awhile to dissolve sugar.
1 - 3 lb head green cabbage 5 ribs celery 1 medium onion 1 medium green pepper 3/4 cup fresh parsley sprigs
Shred cabbage. Chop vegetables. Mix well. Add dressing. Cover tightly and chill overnight. Serves 10-12.
