1 1/2 c. white cabbage 1/2 c. red cabbage 1/2 c. carrots 1/2 c. walnuts 2 to 3 bananas, not overripe 2 to 3 apples 1 small can mandarin oranges, drained 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained 1 c. miniature marshmallows 1/2 c. white green grapes, halved Dressing: 3/4 c. mayonnaise 1/4 c. white vinegar 3 to 4 T. sugar
To prepare salad, chop white and red cabbage, carrots and walnuts very fine. Dice bananas and apples. Add to cabbage mixture. Toss with mandarin oranges, pineapple, marshmallow and grapes. To prepare dressing, combine mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar. Place in jar with tight lid and shake thoroughly. Pour dressing over cabbage and fruit mixture. Toss to mix. Yields 8 servings.
