6 cups mixed field greens (about 4 oz.) 1 1/2 Asian pears, cored and cut into thin slices 1/2 cup pecan halves, toasted Asian Balsamic Vinaigrette
Arrange greens, pears and pecans on 6 chilled salad plates. Add vinaigrette to taste.
Asian Balsamic Vinaigrette
1/2 cup chicken broth 1/2 cup olive oil 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar 2 T chopped onions 2 t Dijon mustard 1 t grated gingerroot
Mix all ingredients until well blended.
Makes 1 and 1/3 cups
