Cooked Eggnog 2 large eggs 4 large egg whites 4 cups nonfat milk 1/4 cup powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 cup crushed ice nutmeg -- for garnish Directions: In a small bowl, lightly beat the eggs and egg whites together. Combine the milk, lightly beaten eggs and powdered sugar in a heavy saucepan, and mix well using a wire whisk. Slowly bring to a simmer over low heat. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring frequently with the whisk. Remove from the heat, add the vanilla, and mix well. Refrigerate until cold. To serve, pour the mixture into a blender container and add 1 cup crushed ice. Blend until frothy. Garnish with nutmeg. Makes 1 1/4 quarts. NOTE: This tastes good warm or cold! My Best, Baking Bud
