1 package (6 ounces) lime flavored gelatin
2 cups boiling water 2 cups Sprite
2 cups mini marshmallows
3 bananas, sliced
1 med. can crushed pineapple, drained (reserve juice)
Topping:
2 eggs
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup pineapple juice (reserved above)
1 package dry whipped topping mix
2 tablespoons butter
Dissolve the gelatin in boiling water and cool slightly. Drain the
pineapple, reserving juice. Add the Sprite, marshmallows, bananas
and drained pineapple to the gelatin. Refrigerate.
Topping: Mix the eggs, sugar, and flour. Add enough water tot he
reserved juice to make 1 cup of liquid. Stir in the butter and juice.
Cook over med. heat until thick, stirring often. Cool. Prepare wht
whipped topping mix according to package directions and fold into
cooked mixture.
When ready to serve, top the gelatin with the sauce.
