COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG COLESLAW Serves: 6-8
3 pounds - cabbage, shredded 1/2 cup - onion, chopped 1/4 cup - celery, chopped 1/4 cup - red bell pepper, diced
1 cup - cider vinegar 1 cup - vegetable oil 1 tablespoon - salt 2 teaspoons - sugar 1 teaspoon - white pepper 2 teaspoons - celery seeds
Combine cabbage, onion, celery and red pepper in a bowl. Add dressing and toss. Chill several hours to blend flavors.
TO MAKE DRESSING: Combine vinegar, oil, salt, sugar, pepper and celery seeds. ;D
