A Mexican soup.
Lime Soup Preparation time: 30 min Servings: 6
1 chicken breast water 2 garlic cloves 1/2 teaspoon orégano 1 onion (medium size) 2 tablespoons vegetal oil 2 medium tomatoes in pieces 1 green pepper chopped 6 limes in slices 6 corn tortillas in strips (previously fried) salt and pepper to taste
Cook chicken breast in water with salt, orégano, garlic and 1/2 onion. Crumble the chicken breast and set aside. Strain the broth and reserve. Chop the rest of the onion and fry it with tomato pieces and green pepper. Add the broth and taste it with salt and pepper; Then add 3 limes to the mixture and cook for a few minutes more. Serve the soup in deep plates, adding the chicken meat, corn tortilla strips and fresh lima slices.
