Hanover Quick N' Easy Chilli With my twist April
Got this from back of a can of Hanover Dark Red Kidney Beans. Note: I used ½ ground Beef, ½ ground Deer (Venison) instead of 2 pounds of ground Beef. I also added 3 Chopped Carrots, 1 Chopped Green Bell Pepper, 8 oz. Sliced Mushrooms, 1 Big can Whole Tomatoes, 2 Tbs. Chilli powder, ½ Tb. Spoon Cayenne and 4 Hot Green Chillies seeded. And I simmered mine 1 hour and 20 minutes with lid on. This was so the extra ingredients were cooked and the extra tomato broth from the whole tomatoes would reduce.
2 lbs. Ground beef ( Venison, see note above) 1 c. chopped onion 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 can (40 ½ oz.) Hanover Dark Red Kidney Beans 1Can (29 oz.) Hanover Tomato Sauce ½ tsp. black pepper 1 ½ Tbs. chilli powder
Brown ground beef in heavy saucepan ( This is were I added My choice of meat); add onion, and garlic and cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients (this is were I added rest of my ingredients) and simmer for 30 minutes. Serves 7 ;D
