This recipe is for Iced Teas Syrup. It is very good. You don't have to keep making more Iced Tea when your pitcher is empty. Just measure the syrup and add water and ice. Makes 10 cups of syrup (enough syrup to make 5 Gallon of Iced Tea) Keeps well in refridgerator. Iced Tea Syrup
Pour 1 cup loose tea over 2 quarts of cold water in a pot. Bring to a boil. Set off heat and steam for 3 minutes. Strain into a large bowl and add 4 cups of sugar. Stir until all the sugar is disolved. Measure syrup in to a container with a lid (must be able to hold 10 cups). Add water to make the total amount of syrup 10 cups. 1 cup of syrup makes 2 quarts of iced tea 1 pint of syrup makes 1 Gallon of iced tea
