Double Oven Stew This is a good recipe for Sunday. Pop it in the oven and go to church.
2 tins consomme 1 tin water 1/2 tsp salt 2 lbs. stewing beef 1/2 cup bread crumbs 1/2 cup flour 2 chopped onions dash of pepper Put consomme ,water ,onions, salt and pepper in casserole dish. Sprinkle flour and breadcrumbs over top,then add meat. (Drop meat into dish and do not stir). Cook 4 hours at 300 oven.
