bravescj10, I have found that I find more recipes I like here on the net than in cookbooks. (or in magazines) Sometimes it is hard to tell though who actually post recipes that they have tried and who is just posting other people's recipes. You can usually tell though.
A couple that I do like are: A Taste of Oregon Chocolate Cake Mix Doctor There is one that our radio station put out years ago. It has some good recipes too.

Chris, That sounds like fun! You know you can count me in. My bday is coming up. Feb 17. I love Maria Callendar's Razzelberry pie too! Our favorite for bdays is DQ icecream cake. It has to be DQ no other one compares. I always like to put streamers in my kids bedroom doorway. I also started this thing with my daughter where I send her a rose for each year. That is starting to get expensive! I might have to change and just do "pretty' flowers. Let's see, if I have to make something I would probably make a recipe out of my Chocolate Cake Mix Doctor Cookbook. Ever So Moist Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Sour Cream Frosting. HMM Yummy. I'll post it in the cake section when I get a chance. ~~Robyn PS. I'd love a great punch recipe to bring to the party!! Anyone have one?

It has been quite awhile since I have made this but YES there is a way to do it.
I think what I did was I did not add the flour and etc on the 5th day. I just continued to let it ferment.
To be able to have one starter and one to make the recipe I would just separate it on Day 10 and not add the sugar, milk and flour that the recipe calls for.
Also, You can use different flavors of pudding mix.

I found this same question somewhere else online and this was the answer that was given to them.
"I believe the method they used for the glow-in-the-dark Jell-o in the commercial was to put a light of some sort under a glass serving dish . The Jell-o itself does not actually contain any glowing properties, but acts as like a stage light "gel," coloring the light as it passes through."
I also looked at the Jello website and didn't find anything there.

HI! I made a shortbread cookie this past week and I wasn't real thrilled with it either. It tasted more like a cut up cookie than shortbread. The cookie was still good.. I was just looking for something that tasted exactly like shortbread. I was wondering if the icing sugar was what made it taste more like cut up cookies because shortbread isn't made with that.
I wonder what would happen if you just took a shortbread recipe and made it in the shape of cookies...

This is yummy. I usually make it without the Chocolate Glaze. It's just our preference.
Chocolate Raspberry Cheese Pie
6 oz cream cheese 14 oz can Eagle® Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (not evaporated milk) 1 egg 3 Tbsp fresh lemon juice or ReaLemon® Lemon Juice from Concentrate 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries 6 oz Ready Made Graham Cracker Pie Crust Chocolate Glaze (recipe follows)
Heat oven at 350°. <br> With mixer, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in Eagle Brand until smooth. Add egg, lemon juice, and vanilla; mix well.
Arrange raspberries on bottom of crust. Slowly pour cheese mixture over fruit.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool completely (around 2 hours).
Chocolate Glaze: In small saucepan, over low heat, melt 2 (1-oz.) squares semisweet chocolate with 1/4 cup whipping cream. Cook and stir until thickened and smooth. Remove from heat.
Top cheesecake with Chocolate Glaze; chill. Garnish as desired. Prep Time: 20 minutes

I made these this afternoon. MMM they are good. And they couldn't be any easier. I just made them as regular rolls not crescent rolls. Taste good. I made them alittle too big but I ended up with 12 rolls. My family won't stay out of them! I bet they are gone tonight!
